Janie Beth {15 months}

Holy cow! How are you 15 months?!?!

Highlights:

• 30 3/4 inches tall and 19 pounds (petite little thing)
• Still in size 3 diapers.
• You are wearing 12/18 months clothes!
• You eat pretty good on most days (favorites: fruit, mac n cheese, and grilled cheese) and drink whole milk and water!
• You have 8 teeth and your top two molars are making their way through!
• We try to only give you your paci at nap and bed time!
• You are talking so well and can repeat a lot of words.
• But the words you say on your own are: more, thank you, shoe, Jack - Jack, Baxie, Flower, Daddy, Mommy, ball, and I love you!
• Favorite songs: Itsy Bitsy Spider, Happy and you Know it, and Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes.
• The new animal noises are: Monkey, duck, and sheep.
• You are very routine based and you do everything almost like clock work! You will bring us your paci and lovie and a book when it is night night time. You lay down for us to brush your teeth. You run to your high chair when you are hungry! It is amazing to see you learn and catch on to things so quickly.
• You also started a new school- First Baptist and you love it!

Janie Beth {12 months}

And just like that your year of firsts have come to an end. I have been a pool of emotions today. I don't know whether to smile and celebrate all your milestones and all of your accomplishments or to cry in the fact that you are no longer a "baby". I never understood it until now, but being a mom is the most challenging but rewarding job! But, for this moment I am going to celebrate your accomplishments and later tonight I will cry myself to sleep!

Highlights:

• You weigh roughly 20lbs and 30 inches tall. (Those are my measurements, but we go to the dr next week to confirm).
• Still in size 3 diapers and 9-12m clothes.
• I say this VERY excitingly......WE ARE D.O.N.E. WITH THE FORMULA! You drink 6oz of whole milk when you wake up and before you go to sleep and whole milk is in your cup at each meal!
• You can still say bye-bye, mama, dada, moo, woof woof, uh oh, and you babble all the time.
• You are a screaming, laughing, noise making machine (you get that from your daddy).
• You cut another bottom tooth so you are up to 5 teeth.
• You are your happiest when you are eating or outside with your puppies.
• You had the best time at your birthday party and you were the star of the show with your smash cake!

Fourth July {2016}

Janie Beth celebrated her first Fourth of July! We spent the weekend with family and friends and we had the best time. She hung with everyone and never once got fussy and even napped with 50 people over at my parent's house! SCORE!!

On Saturday we went to Granny and PapaT's house and had a good time and the meal was delicious!

Janie Beth thought the food was so good she ate it for breakfast the next morning!

Sunday, We went to church and had an awesome service topped with music and a great sermon!

Monday my parents hosted a fabulous Fourth Party and man was there some good food!!! Janie Beth played hard and ate good!

Father's Day 2016

Ben celebrated his first Father's Day and where else did we spend it but on the lake? JB took her first boat ride and she is now the newest co-captain! Sunday we went to church and then went to the pool for a few hours. It was nothing high class but exactly low key and perfect for us!

*unfortunately, I did not take any pictures the day of Father's Day :/ I am starting to slack!

Janie Beth {11 months}

Let's not pretend that you will be a YEAR next month!! Man you are so hard to snap pictures of you now that you are  walking  running everywhere! You are such a joy baby girl!

Highlights:

• I have no clue what you weigh or your height :( but you seem to be getting heavier and taller by the day!
• You are still in a size 3 diapers and 9-12m clothes!
• Still eating 4 bottles a day and some days I can't wait until you are done with the formula!
• You are starting to eat more table food at one sitting and I am thankful for that because I was worried about how much you would eat once you were off formula.
• You officially wave and SAY bye-bye. It is more like dye-dye, but still the cutest thing EVER.
• Every now and then you will surprise us and say mama and dada and it is directed towards us.
• You have learned to give kisses and they are open mouth wet kisses but the sweetest kisses ever.
• You have picked up a love for dancing. Any time you hear music or we start singing you will bounce up and down.
• I am not sure if this is a good thing or a sad thing but when a phone rings you immediately put your hand up to your ear like you are answering the phone.
• When I make your bottles you start shaking your hands and I blame that on me constantly singing "shake shake, shake shake, shake your bottle."
• My favorite new things you do are the animal noises you can say. You can say Moo and Woof Woof!

• You went to music class and LOVED it! Wish we could do it all year long!
• And, you FINALLY have your two top teeth cutting though!
