DIY Halloween Costume

Well, we are going as the deer and hunter. It was something easy and cheap considering Ben has his outfit already and all I needed was a trip to Hobby Lobby. My sister and her boyfriend are going to a different party and they have decided to be the same thing so we went shopping together. I think it is going to turn out cute!

Items I needed: head band, duct tape, fake fur, shirt, and two wooden rods.
Step 1: Cut the light fur to be the belly of the shirt. (I wanted a dark brown shirt but refused to pay more than 6 bucks; so light brown it was!)
Step 2: Hot glue the fake fur on.
Step 3: Cut the wooden rods into the sizes you want to make the antlers and wrap them in brown duct tape.
Step 3: Hot glue the antlers onto the head band.
Step 4: Cut the tail and glue it on. (I haven't cut the tail in this picture yet!)

I am wearing this with brown leggings and boots. I plan on painting a nose and some "freckles" to hopefully tie the look in. I will post pictures of the full outfit soon!

Happy Halloween,

Abbie
