What's for supper tonight?

Well, hello winter you must have forgotten you came after fall! Yesterday was 75 degrees and today it did not reach 55! Brrrr! So, tonight I wanted to fix something warm and I was in the breakfast mood. I made the "Country Gravy Sausage and Biscuit Casserole" I found on Pinterest. It is SOOOO easy to make and Ben LOVES it! This is probably the only dish that I use a 9x13 pan rather than an 8x8 pan because we eat on it all week (it is one of those meals that is just as good heated up the next day!)

 Ingredients:
  •  6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 packet of the Pioneer Brand Peppered gravy
  • 1 can of biscuits
  • 1 16 oz of sausage of your choice
  • shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
  •  preheat the oven to 350
  • cut the biscuits up into 1 inch squares and layer them on the bottom of a greased pan
  • ground the sausage and then put it on top of the biscuits
  • whisk 6 eggs and 1/2 cup of milk and pour it on top of the biscuits and sausage
  • add a layer of shredded cheese
  • make gravy according to package and pour it on top of the casserole
  • bake in the oven for 30 minutes

Biscuits cut up into 1 inch squares
Biscuits, sausage, cheese, and the milk and egg combo
Sorry for the poor picture quality-but this is everything in the dish before I baked it.
And, the finish product :)

Happy Eating,
Abbie
